No. IELTS Trek is an independent preparation platform. We write original practice material in the official test format, but we are not connected with the organisations that own and run IELTS.

The library is built so tests can be tagged by book, test number and year. We only publish material from Cambridge books or past papers when we have permission from the copyright holder. Everything else is written by our teachers in the same format.

Yes. Open Reading or Listening practice, pick a question type such as Matching headings or Map labelling, and work through every set. Each set comes with its passage or recording, instant marking and explanations.

One person is the examiner and one is the candidate. Generate a random set, read the questions from the screen and send the cue card on WhatsApp. The message shows when preparation ends and when to start and stop speaking.

Yes. The whole site works on phones and tablets. For full mock tests we suggest a laptop or desktop, because the real computer-delivered test uses a large screen.

Academic is for university study and professional registration. General Training is for migration, work and secondary education. Check what your university, employer or visa route needs.

It is the average of your four skill bands, rounded to the nearest half band. An average ending in .25 rounds up to the next half band, and .75 rounds up to the next whole band.

Listening and Reading bands use the widely published conversion tables, so they are a good estimate. Writing and Speaking are scored by experienced teachers against the official criteria. Practice scores are estimates, not official results.

Send an essay or a Speaking recording and a teacher scores it on the four official criteria with written comments, usually within 48 hours (24 hours on the Summit plan). You get a notification when it is ready.
