Riverside Council: Changes to Recycling Collections
From 1 June, recycling will be collected every two weeks instead of every week. Glass bottles and jars should now be placed in the new blue box, which will be delivered to all households during May.
Plastic bags cannot be recycled and should be put in your general waste bin. Garden waste collections will continue on the first Monday of every month; residents who use this service must pay an annual fee of £40.
If your collection is missed, please report it on our website within 48 hours. Large items such as furniture can be collected for a small charge: book by phone on 01632 960 450.
